The brief
What Synth Samurai needed
Synth Samurai needed a storefront with a strong neo-Tokyo look: neon accents, a dark palette and big product imagery. Sites with this much visual weight are often slow on mobile, so the goal was to keep the style without the usual cost in load time.

A newsletter form for upcoming releases, built as plain HTML with a small script.

A lightweight menu that works the same on any phone, with no framework behind it.
How we kept it fast
Our approach
- Astro renders every page to static HTML, so the browser gets content straight away instead of waiting for JavaScript.
- Icons are small SVG files with set dimensions, which stops the layout jumping as the page loads.
- The site is served from Cloudflare’s global network, including data centres in Australia.
