The brief
What QuoteDash needed
QuoteDash is a tool for agencies and freelancers who quote often. It needed to turn a scope of work into a priced quote in a few minutes, and work well on a phone as well as a desktop.

Four-step quote flow
Client and project, scope and features, delivery options, then a quote summary.
Pricing rules
Standard, expedited and rush timelines adjust the price automatically, shown in AUD ex. GST.
Saved drafts
Quotes are saved in the browser, so nothing is lost and no account is needed.
Mobile running total
A sticky total bar keeps the price in view while you build the quote on a phone.
How we kept it fast
Our approach
- Astro serves the page shell as static HTML, and React only loads for the interactive dashboard.
- Drafts are stored locally, which keeps the tool fast and avoids storing client data on a server.
- The layout adapts to small screens instead of shrinking a desktop dashboard.
